Our network counselors are required to have the following experience, skills and knowledge:

bulletAt least a master’s degree in a Behavioral Health discipline.
bulletLicensed by the state you practice in.
bulletSignificant post-masters experience serving a wide range of populations.
bulletSensitivity to cultural diversity issues.
bulletExcellent assessment skills.
bulletGood working knowledge of community resources.
bulletWillingness to work with Behavioral Managed Care Organizations to help employees find the best referral possible.
bulletExperience and training in brief therapy techniques.
bulletDirect EAP experience is preferred.
bulletAbility to establish rapport quickly.
bulletSubstance abuse training and experience.
bulletProfessional liability insurance.
bulletHandicapped accessible offices are preferred.
