Steps For Making A Referral
WHAT CAN THE EAP DO FOR
YOU AS A SUPERVISOR?
 | The EAP is a service to you as well as the employee. Our
Program Coordinators are master’s level, Certified Employee Assistance
Professionals (CEAP) and have extensive experience providing consultation to
supervisors on managing the human factor in the workplace. |
 | We provide confidential consultation, coaching &
counseling about an individual employee or a group of employees. We are
happy to consult with about any "people problems" in the
workplace. |
 | We will help you decide whether to refer an employee. It’s
up to you how to proceed. |
 | We will coach you on how to prepare for and make a
referral. |
 | We help you with the on-going management of the employee,
even after you’ve made a referral. |
 | Call EAP to discuss an employee or your own concerns.

We are available to come to your
department to give a brief presentation to your staff on the services of the
EAP.
We also can provide training to your supervisors on the referral process.
