This seminar is a follow-up to the Drugs@Work seminar and provides an enhanced toolkit to create a Drug-Free Workplace as defined in the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1998.

  • Legal implications of Drug Testing in CT and other approaches: Do's and Don'ts.

  • How to set up Education Programs for Employees and Parents at your workplace;
  • Receive a Drug-Free Workplace Kit

  • Methods for assessing needs;
  • Writing and reviewing Drug-Free Workplace policies and procedures;
  • Suggestions on enforcing policy;
  • Identifying drug-testing vendors and how to make referrals for drug-testing;
  • EAP resources and how to refer to EAPs;
  • Supervisor alcohol and drug training methods;
  • How to develop an employee drug and alcohol prevention training plan;
  • Voluntary parent education on how to raise drug-free kids;
  • Receive a kit with materials for employees, supervisors, HR staff, and company leaders.
